Today, the courts temporarily halted the voter identification law we posted about earlier this year. Their concern was about the implementation of the law by the administration as opposed to the constitutionality of the process of showing photo identification.
At this time, the law will be effect for future elections. If there are revisions, particularly regarding the use of concealed carry licenses for valid photo identification, we will keep you posted.
However, you should still make sure you are up-to-date on anything you need to vote.
Did you know that NRA’s Political Victory Fund has added a new feature to their website where you can check on your voter registration status? Just check out their website where you will find the tool (pictured on the left) on the right column. The process takes less than 5 seconds to make sure that your voice can – and will – be heard on Election Day.
